Exclusive Two-Day Course
with Dr Maria Magallon and DR Giorgio Iodice
The first day of the course will familiarize participants with the FAS Aligner System, focusing on its unique features that distinguish it from other aligner systems on the market. Day two is designed for those already familiar with inter-radicular TADs but seeking more efficient protocols with lower failure rates.
DAY 1: FAS: PARADIGM SHIFT IN THE ALIGNERS ERA
COURSE OUTLINE
This intensive course will familiarize participants with the FAS Aligner System, focusing on its unique features that distinguish it from other aligner systems on the market. Key topics include:
- Diagnostic approach using FAS (vertical, sagittal, and transverse relationships)
- Planning and executing clinical cases with FAS aligners
- Handling diagnostic records, including CBCT scans, closure arches, and mandibular dynamics
- Treatment planning techniques with an emphasis on efficiency and predictability
- Anchoring management, staging analysis, and optimization methods
- Protocols for managing various malocclusions
- By the end of the course, participants will master diverse treatment protocols and be equipped to handle a wide range of clinical scenarios effectively.
By the end of the course, participants will have the skills and knowledge to manage complex clinical cases using aligners, employing hybrid approaches and integrating skeletal anchoring and advanced clinical procedures for optimal results.
DAY 2: CUTTING EDGE SKELETAL ANCHORAGE IN 2025
COURSE OUTLINE
This day is designed for those already familiar with inter-radicular TADs but seeking more efficient protocols with lower failure rates. Topics will include:
- Discovering palatal skeletal anchorage: advantages, strengths, and limitations
- Step-by-step guide to clinical chairside insertion of skeletal anchorage
- Using templates and CBCT for precise insertion
- Evaluation of biomechanics: distalization, mesialization, and intrusion movements
- Maxillary expansion using skeletal anchorage
- Clinical cases illustrating the range of possibilities with this innovative method
This day will offer in-depth insight into the clinical applications of skeletal anchorage with hands-on guidance on insertion, device selection, and treatment planning.
