Course Outline

Do you already have a fair amount of experience with inter-radicular TADs, but are you looking for a more efficient protocol with a lower failure rate? Have you heard of many anchoring options but do not know which one to apply? Are you confused about the use of the template and CBCT? Well this is the course for you.

We will guide you step by step through the discovery of palatal skeletal anchorage, analyzing its advantages, strengths and limitations. We will evaluate the different guidelines and references for their clinical chairside insertion. We will analyze possible advantages and disadvantages of the direct and indirect insertion protocol using a template, in the light of the best available scientific evidence. We will understand together when and why to request a CBCT to our patient to insert TADs, what real benefit we could get from it and in which
specific patient.

We will evaluate the biomechanics of distalisation, mesialisation and intrusion movements. We will delve into maxillary expansion on skeletal anchorage, guiding you in the choice of device type according to the patient. Finally we will present to you the new tools and new clinical possibilities with Orthoeasy line 2025. All the clinical steps and components required for the development of palatal skeletal anchorage orthodontic devices will be analyzed in detail.
