Precision through 4D Data Integration in Treatment Planning
What sets the FAS® Aligner System apart is its use of 4D data for treatment planning. In addition to traditional imaging techniques, the system incorporates CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) scans and rotational movement recordings of the lower jaw. By integrating this additional data, the FAS® Aligner System creates precise treatment plans that account for the real positioning of tooth roots and jaw functionality. This approach enables the treatment of even the most complex cases and delivers stable, long-term results.
Functional and Aesthetic Results with Long-Term Stability
The FAS® system optimizes treatment planning by using the “arc of closure” concept, which considers not only static occlusion but also the dynamic movement patterns of the lower jaw. By incorporating 3D X-ray imaging, the treatment plan is based on real tooth roots and the available bone structure, ensuring that tooth movements stay within the alveolar bone, resulting in greater stability after treatment.

Each treatment plan within the FAS® Aligner System is divided into distinct phases, irrespective of the severity of the malocclusion. The “Stop & Go” procedure, available in both the FAS® Pro and Compact packages, adds another level of control during treatment phases, ensuring greater accuracy and minimizing plastic waste from obsolete aligners.
