Palatal expanders
Snap Lock Expander A reliable solution for effective palatal expansion
The Snap Lock Expander ensures precise expansion of the palatal suture. A locking leaf spring prevents back-rotation, and the activation hole allows for easy reactivation. In case of over-activation, the screw can easily be turned back.Additionally, all models are available without arms, allowing for seamless integration with metal-printed support structures—offering a versatile solution for modern laboratory configurations.
Your benefits
No turning back
The snap-in flat spring ensures safe and controlled activation.
Tangible control
The screw engages audibly and tangibly when activated, providing additional security.
Easy to use
Thanks to the optimally positioned hole, reactivation is possible at any time without difficulty.
Safety when activating
The special screw design prevents the key from piercing through and minimizes the risk of injury.
Slim-Line Expander Space-efficient and multifunctional
The Slim-Line Expander was specially developed for space-saving use in the lower jaw. With its slim design, two arms and one guide pin, it can be optimally adapted to anatomical conditions and is ideal for confined spaces. It is available in sizes 12 mm and 16 mm and with expansion widths of 8 mm and 12 mm, offering maximum flexibility.
The 12 mm version is also offered without arms, making it perfect for integration with metal-printed appliances.

Versatile options
Two sizes (12 and 16 mm) and expansion widths (8 and 12 mm) for individual requirements.
Flexible application
Armless 12 mm version, optimized for modern designs using metal-printed appliances.
Standard and Anatomic Expanders Different designs for individual requirements
I Along with the Snap Lock Expander, we provide a range of other palatal expansion screws in various designs and sizes, enabling precise customization for each treatment scenario.
Standard palatal split screws have arms on the underside of the screw body (towards the tongue), which may be necessary in narrow palates because the screw extends further into the oral cavity.
Anatomic expanders, in contrast, feature arms positioned on the upper side of the screw body (toward the palate), which allows the screw to sit deeper in the palate. This design enhances comfort by reducing protrusion into the oral cavity and positioning the screw closer to the soft tissue.
