Expansion screws for Class III Double Plates (RDP) Effective class III therapy in children using intermaxillary forces

The Expansion Screws for Class III Double Plates, developed by Prof. Dr. Franz Günter Sander, are an effective method for correcting prognathism in children in the early mixed dentition. They consist of two removable plates that exert force on the jaw via screws and bars. They gradually shift the lower jaw and promote growth of the upper jaw.

Depending on the indication, for example, narrow jaw or lateral crossbite, the appliance can also be supplemented with expansion screws in the plates.

Thanks to its flexibility and step-by-step activation, the RDP-appliance is a gentle and adjustable solution for treating jaw misalignments.
