The Bite Jumping Screw is an innovative upgrade to Dr. William Clark’s renowned Twin-Block appliance. It enhances the treatment of Class II/1 malocclusions by allowing gradual advancement of the mandible, eliminating the need for time-consuming reactivations in the laboratory.
Thanks to the stepwise advancement of the mandible, stretching of the craniomandibular muscles is minimized, resulting in greater patient comfort and acceptance. At the same time, a greater orthopedic effect is achieved with less incisor tipping. The stainless-steel Bite Jumping Screw allows for simple and safe activation of up to 6 mm and is particularly beneficial for patients with large overjets or limited mandibular advancement.
