SIMPLEX model designer
Just a few clicks to the result
SIMPLEX model designer is kept simple on purpose. The software offers a standardized, user-friendly process that can be used without prior knowledge. A structured workflow leads step by step to the print-ready model.
It is used to convert intraoral scans into printable digital models with just a few clicks. The optional software closes the potential gap between the intraoral scan and the SIMPLEX sliceware.
- FAST: Just a few clicks
- INTUITIVE: No long training period
- EFFICIENT: Low system requirements
SIMPLEX sliceware
Absolutely easy to use
The SIMPLEX sliceware is included in the printer package and allows you to convert digital models into a print file with just a few clicks. All you must do is select the type of model you want to print and the sliceware will convert it using predefined print parameters.
This makes it easy to process the virtual model automatically. The pre-installed print parameters ensure a high level of reliability.
- EASY: Intuitive operation thanks to pre-installed parameters
- CONVENIENT: Pleasant to work with due to low noise level
- RATIONAL: No post-processing with chemicals or in a light oven
1. Load your 3D models into the sliceware
2. Select the type of model you need…
3. The sliceware creates the files for the printer
Slicing – the process of breaking down a 3D object into individual layers and creating a “work plan” for the printer – is one of the most challenging tasks in 3D printing. Particularly in the Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) process, models are usually hollowed out to save printing time and material.
With SIMPLEX sliceware, the process is extremely easy. The software offers four pre-set print modes (Study, Working, Aligner and Multi-Use). You just select the mode, and the software automatically applies the appropriate predefined parameters such as wall thicknesses and internal support structures.
SIMPLEX 3D filament printer
The benefits for the orthodontic practice and laboratory
Choose the appropriate filament and select the desired print job. This allows you to print orthodontic models quickly, reliably, and in an environmentally friendly manner, without the need for post-processing with chemicals or light ovens.
The small footprint is another charming feature of the SIMPLEX 3D filament printer. The printer can be easily set up even in small rooms. At the same time, the intelligently designed, compact construction and flexibly usable print bed offer maximum efficiency.

SIMPLEX model isolation
Proper separation is key to success.
If an acrylic appliance is to be produced on a model, the model surface must be isolated. While the plaster-versus-acrylic isolation works well on plaster models, 3D-printed models pose a challenge. A special isolating agent (plastic-against-plastic) is needed for the exact separation effect – quite simply: SIMPLEX model isolation.
