Dr Daniele Cantarella succeeds Dr John Bennett

After decades of influential and dedicated work, Dr John Bennett is retiring from his active role in orthodontic education with Forestadent. As an internationally renowned orthodontist and co-developer of the McLaughlin-Bennett-Trevisi system, Dr Bennett has played a pivotal role in shaping modern orthodontic treatment. His textbooks and educational contributions have guided an entire generation of orthodontic professionals across the globe. His structured treatment concepts and commitment to reliable, efficient biomechanics have made him a respected leader in the field.
His legacy will be continued with excellence: Dr Daniele Cantarella, a distinguished academic, international lecturer, and long-time collaborator of Dr Bennett, will take over the teaching responsibilities and continue promoting the McLaughlin-Bennett MB 5.0 philosophy through Forestadent.
Dr. Cantarella brings extensive clinical and academic expertise, particularly in the areas of digital orthodontics, biomechanics, MARPE, and skeletal anchorage. He received advanced orthodontic training at the University of California, Los Angeles, and earned a PhD from the University of Milan. With academic roles in both Europe and the United States, he bridges scientific insight with practical application. His profile makes him an ideal successor to continue and further develop the McLaughlin-Bennett approach for the future, based on classical orthodontic treatment.
Dr Cantarella will assume full responsibility for future training programs from July 2025 onward, with courses planned for September 6 in Sarajevo, October 18, November 8, and December 6 in Chisinau.
