A recognized specialist in odontology and dentistry. He has more than 25 years of experience in the profession and extensive training in various areas and techniques of orthodontics, as well as pain and treatment of the temporomandibular joint. In this regard, among other qualifications, he holds a master’s degree in orthodontics and dental orthopedics from the University of Santiago de Compostela, postgraduate studies in pain and treatment of TMJ and orofacial pain at the Teknon Institute in Barcelona, and continuing education in lingual orthodontics of the STb system at the Complutense University in Madrid.

The course introduces the concept of early treatment of children with mixed or deciduous dentition as a method of maintaining or restoring the natural functional balance in the child’s mouth. To overcome the problems associated with traditional braces, Dr. José María Ponce de León introduces a brand new functional splint system, FAS Kids, a unique system for children ages 5-14.
