In addition to the conventional spindle, FORESTADENT memory screws also have an integrated spring which ensures a consistent expansion reserve and even transfer of forces. The elastic spring guarantees a higher patient comfort and quicker expansion, even at low patient cooperation. Readjustment of the screws is only required once the spring deflection is fully exploited.

The Memory protrusion screw is used to move single teeth. The dosed physiological force development (approx. 90 g) is generated by two incorporated super-elastic springs with a spring deflection of 0.7 mm. The total expansion is 2.5 mm.
