Reliable expansion in two directions
In addition to the conventional spindle, FORESTADENT memory screws also have an integrated spring which ensures a consistent expansion reserve and even transfer of forces. The elastic spring guarantees a higher patient comfort and quicker expansion, even at low patient cooperation. Readjustment of the screws is only required once the spring deflection is fully exploited.

The Memory multi-sector screw is used for the transversal expansion and simultaneous protrusion in the maxilla. It allows for a total expansion of 3 mm at a spring force of 500g in each segment. The spring deflection is 0.8 mm.
