FORESTADENT was delighted by the overwhelming response at the WFO Congress in Sydney, Australia.

FORESTADENT will long remember the recent WFO Congress where there was a constant stream of visitors to the company’s exhibition stand as well as numerous enquiries from interested parties. The Pforzheim traditional company once again used this opportunity to present its quality products to an international public.

FORESTADENT presented its new MiniAnts to the exhibition visitors. MiniAnts are a type of bracket with a reduced width, which optimally complement the proven 2D lingual bracket system. Up until now twin-wing brackets in the lower anterior region have had to be placed very close together due to their width, but now there is much more space available with the MiniAnts. This greatly facilitates compensation bends that are mainly required during the finishing phase.

The congress visitors were also able to obtain information about the BioFinisher. The BioFinisher is a thermoactive square archwire, which can be used for easy realignment of retruded teeth at the end of multiband treatment. The dimensions of the BioFinisher, which almost fills the slot, ensure transfer of virtually all the preset values in each bracket.

Some stand visitors were also impressed by the advantages of the Easy-Fit Jumper, a fixed functional orthodontic appliance for advancing the mandible. The key feature of this Herbst modification is that it is not retained with the aid of bands or splints, but directly on the archwire of a multiband appliance.

It was a very successful start, one which delighted the Pforzheim family company (with over 103 years of tradition) and promises further highlights for the 2010 exhibition year.
